LUSH Cello Quartet

Working on some new photos for the cello quartet LUSH. These are some themes or looks that I composited from a studio shoot. I think my favourite is the simple CK-esque black and white shot although the others are really fun too. Oddly enough that one was one of the longest to get right.

In looking over the 400+ photos from the shoot there are many subtle expressions that were unique to each performer. These beautiful gestures and features were rarely, if ever, on the same negative. This meant flagging slides for each performer then finding the appropriate scene with which to composite, not only the setting, but each performers look. In viewing the photos after the fact it is difficult to appreciate the amount of hours involved in this process as the result should look seamless and natural.
